Motorola’s Radius 1225 Series RSS (Radio Service Software) is a service-grade, DOS-based application used to program and maintain Radius 1225 family two-way radios, including P1225 portable and M1225 mobile models. Designed for professional radio technicians, it provides reliable access to the radio’s codeplug for configuration, cloning, and fleet management.

Key capabilities:

• Read and write radio codeplugs; back up and restore configurations
• Program channel assignments and frequencies within the radio’s band split
• Configure analog signaling and squelch options, including CTCSS/DCS (PL/DPL)
• Set bandwidth (12.5/25 kHz where supported), transmit power, and time-out timers
• Define scan lists and behavior (e.g., priority scan, talk-around)
• Customize front-panel button functions and accessory I/O settings
• Clone settings across compatible radios for consistent fleet deployment

System and connectivity:
